Michelle Grayson (formerly Williams) is an illustrator and graphic designer living in Queensland, Australia.Having studied graphic design in the late 1980s Michelle went on to work for various advertising agencies before returning to further studies in visual arts and communication at QUT, Brisbane in the mid 1990s. In 2002 she commenced studies in interior design but has put this on hold to raise a family and concentrate on Sprout Gallery and freelance work. During the late 1990s Michelle supplied gift boutiques and garden stores with her series of colourful wooden garden cut-outs, tactile shoe prints, clothes-line series, etchings and tea cups. She also worked as a visual display artist for a large upmarket garden store in Melbourne (as well as other leading retailers) and has supplied fun garden signage for a series of large garden nurseries throughout Brisbane. Michelle also worked for a number of years in communication, both marketing and graphic design. |
