Oliver & Ellie Beth

Oliver, loving the outdoors, enjoys flying kites, riding in balloons, sailing in boats and playing with his friends on the merry-go-round. Having a great affinity with all creatures great and small, Oliver often can be found chatting to his little feathered friends.

Regarded by his friends as ‘a real boy’ Oliver likes to wear blue or orange dungarees and striped shirts. He loves the colours red, blue and orange and anything polka-dot green. His favourite food is pudding and strawberry malted milkshakes slurped from a tall icy glass with a striped straw. A treat all the more delightful if shared with his best friend Ellie Beth.

Ellie Beth is a small white mouse passionate about the arts. Her hobbies are dancing, reading poetry and painting flowers from her garden. Her favourite afternoon is Wednesday because she dresses in her special ballet tutu and attends ballet classes with Mrs Snuggleberry Snail. While she is still a beginner, Ellie Beth is very good at twirling and pointing her toes.

Being very self sufficient Ellie Beth, alongside her friend Oliver, likes to make use of items humans have discarded. Often you will find Ellie Beth and Oliver sitting on a pot or lying on a leaf watching butterflies.

Flutterbug’s Trail

Flutterbug’s Trail is a flurry of colourful butterflies dressed in buttons, beads and fabric who have taken up residence at Sprout Gallery. When the sun is warm and the flowers are in bloom, Flutterbug’s Trail love to flutter in circles leaving little flutter-flutter trails behind.

Flutterbug’s Trail can be found fluttering near any special flower and are always around on washing day to help out their friends with chores.

Mr and Mrs Snuggleberry Snail

Mr and Mrs Snuggleberry Snail – the gallery’s oldest and politest residents.The Snuggleberrys have a wardrobe of colourful shells which they like to change regularly. They never dare to poke their heads out of their shell without wearing one of their wonderfully flamboyant hats.

Mr Snuggleberry is custodian of Sprout Gallery’s garden.
Mrs Snuggleberry teaches ballet to all the mice and fairies who live nearby.

Little Miss Fairy-Flap

Little Miss Fairy-Flap likes to wear a shiny crown and pink outfits with polka-dot sparklies and trims. She has a wardrobe of pink wispy skirts and dresses she calls swish-swishes. When happy, she beats her tiny fairy wings excitedly creating the most gentle breeze and tiny flutter trails. Her friends know when little Miss Fairy-Flap is near because she leaves star dust in the sky.

Due to Little Miss Fairy-Flap’s good nature and disposition she attracts many wonderful fairy friends who like to visit Sprout Gallery from time to time.
